1 THECONSTITUTION (GOA, DAMAN AND DIU) SCHEDULED TRIBES ORDER,1968

Inexercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 342of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to make the following Order, namely:--

1.This Order may be called the Constitution (Goa, Daman andDiu) Scheduled Tribes Order,1968.

2.The tribes or tribal communities specified in column 1of the Schedule to this Orderand the synonyms thereof, if any, specified in column 2against each-such tribe or tribal community, shall,for the purpose of the Constitution, be deemed to be Scheduled Tribes inrelation to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu so far as regardsmembersthereof resident in that Union territory.
