Constitution (Distribution of Revenues) No.3 Order, 1995.

1 THECONSTITUTION (DISTRIBUTION OFREVENUES) No.3 ORDER, 1995

Inexercise of the powers conferred by article 275of the Constitution, the President, after having considered therecommendations of the Finance Commission, hereby makes the following Order,namely:--

1.This Order may be called theConstitution (Distribution of Revenues) No.3 Order, 1995.

2.The General Clauses Act, 1897 (10of 1897), shall apply for theinterpretation of this Order asit applies for the interpretation of a Central Act.

3.(1) In accordance with theprovisions of clause (1) ofarticle 275, there shall be charged on the Consolidated Fund of India, in the financial yearcommencing on the 1st day ofApril, 1995 as grants-in-aid ofthe revenues of each of the States specified below the sums specified againstit:--

(2)In case the actual realisation of the concerned States from royalty on mines andminerals during the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1995 ishigher than that assumed by the Finance Commission then suitable reduction willbe made, in the financial year commencing on 1st April, 1996, in the grantspayable to the concerned States.

(3)Any sum or sums payable under sub-paragraph (1) shall be in addition to any sumor sums payable to the States under each of the provisos to clause (1) ofarticle 275.

4.The Constitution (Distribution of Revenues) No. 3 Order, 1990 shall, as from the1st day of April, 1995, stand repealed.
