THE HIGH COURTS (JUDGES) ORDER, 1951
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 216 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to make the following Order, namely :--
1. (1) This Order may be called the High Courts (Judges) Order, 1951.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. The maximum number of Judges in each High Court shall be as specified in the Table below :--
