Provisions with Respect to an Inter-provincial Council.

Inter-Provincial Co-operation

If at any time it appears to [His Majesty upon the consideration of representations addressed to him by]1the Governor-General that the public interests would beserved by the establishment of the Inter-Provincial Council charged with the duty of--

(a) inquiring into and advising upon disputes which may have arisen between Provinces;

(b) investigating and discussing subjects in which some or all of the Provinces, or the Federation and one or more of the Provinces, have a common interest; or

(c) making recommendations upon any such subject and, in particular, recommendations for the better co-ordination of policy and action with respect to that subject it shall be lawful for2[His Majesty in Council] to establish such a Council, and to define the nature of the dutiesto be performed by it and its organisation and procedure.
