Governor-general May Require Governors to Discharge Certain Functions as His Agents.

1[123. Governor-General may require Governors to Discharge Certain Functions as His Agents

(1) The Governor-General may direct the Governor of any Province to discharge as his agent, either generally or in any particular case, such functions in and in relation to the tribal areas as may be specified in the direction.

(2) If in any particular case it appears to the Governor-General necessary or convenient so to do, he may direct the Governor of any Province todischarge as his agent such functions in relation to defence, external affairs,or ecclesiastical affairs as may be specified in the direction.

(3) In the discharge of any such functions the Governor shall actin his discretion.
